Update for the earlier post : side effects of using laptop mouse - too much wrist pain , and yes i am traditional in a way that i am not comfortable in calling the laptop lappie ...(shivers)

Wall-E and Eve-ah

Technologically challenged (mind you  google and wikipedia  , or should i say basically internet(technology again)  is my lifeline in such situations ) myself had to buy a mouse for my laptop . And while  approximately a hand's length from the shop i actually rehearsed that i want to buy a mouse for my laptop , which with some deletions , sounds a bit hilarious and embarassing , at least to me and so the rehearsing  .
i did not do any  R of  R&D to buy this obviously  . So you want to buy a laptop mouse , how difficult can it get .  Find out .
So here it goes.............
Me: my line that i rehearsed
The guy : you want the PS2 one
Me : whaaat ................hmm ...... i want ... my line again.......
The guy  (only after giving me a big smile ): wait  a sec (while taking out the PS2  and the USB types)
Me : relieved to know  now ... no ok ... these two types .......now i have generally used the USB ones so now  , i thought ok the USB one ...me thinking now...... then ok asking which one is better
The guy : both are equally good ....
another guy now : take the USB one .... you want it for laptop no ?
Me : he seems to know it seems ....
       ok ...how much ... ok x ammount , how much is the warranty period or guarranty period ; trying to give 
       him the look  like  you can't  fool me types ,so what if i didn't know what ps2 means ,do you know who 
       John Galt is ?....etc etc   , (whatever you  say , when i want to say guarranty , i think
       warranty and viceversa ..... so it actually  comes out as   waggarrranty (some aunty ). and so i
       asked ....,1 year it was .
       first guy handed me what i finally bought ... the other guy ... took the money ... made the receipt and
      asked   my name .... don't even get me started on what happens when i tell people my name
So as soon as i got the much sought after device and my balance , i had to rush out  from the store ....
and  yes i forgot to take the receipt .
Did not feel like going now .... no points for guessing why .

P.S. : googled and read somewhere ... that somebody was searching for a PS2 mouse , so that  the USB ports can be kept free for other usage ..... let me go blank now .. i will be comfortable with this thing , visualising it . (watching the SECRET documentary  (based on Rhonda Byrne's book of the same name ) too many times i guess in parts of 30 mins. , i am now on the last 30 mins . )
Now i have tried very hard to be funny here , if i  failed then  blame DORK , the book by Sidin Vadukut . like i said in one previous post of mine , i get inspired and somehow  innocently  think and subsequently talk and write or try to write in the same style . Loving it till now  , the first 30 or so pages ....

And somehow i have  managed to not read the other 3 books (mentioned in some earlier post )f ully . Though i find Malcolm Gladwell pretty cute and like his casual style of writing , after a point in  BLINK  i  just doze offf.... i think too much blinking , it is .

Now one thing i ought to mention (liking how i am using this word ought ), i am in love with  WALL-E , if in a movie with robots  , your eyes can actually well up ... that was it for me ....

Once upon a time .......not long back though ....this happened
Somebody : it works on 3 g  , you know 3g right ?
Me :   yeah .... ?????/(gravity ,google , gaming , gas ..... whats 3 ....in my mind)
Later in the day 'me' : google 3 G  technology ....
Bah ..... 3rd generation blah blah .... enough ...

I have to buy a mobile now.

I don't want to be another Kaavya Vishwanathan

i would like to write a lot , i want to be an author of some book someday , because anybody can be a writer and out of those,many become authors , some succeed , some don't.The point is i have noticed that i start thinking in the style/tone of the writer i am currently reading , and so i think that somehow unconsciously i may imitate or get inspired by his/her writing and incorporate it in my own writings . Thats why i guess i don't write a lot.

Right now , i am in the the beginning of three books - blink by malcolm gladwell(cute cute ,not the book , cute for the author) , agatha christie's autobiography and the hitchhiker's guide to galaxy and i foresee that i won't be finishing reading these soon .
