i would like to write a lot , i want to be an author of some book someday , because anybody can be a writer and out of those,many become authors , some succeed , some don't.The point is i have noticed that i start thinking in the style/tone of the writer i am currently reading , and so i think that somehow unconsciously i may imitate or get inspired by his/her writing and incorporate it in my own writings . Thats why i guess i don't write a lot.
Right now , i am in the the beginning of three books - blink by malcolm gladwell(cute cute ,not the book , cute for the author) , agatha christie's autobiography and the hitchhiker's guide to galaxy and i foresee that i won't be finishing reading these soon .

Waiting for Kaminey....
I would say if somebody has not seen Maqbool , Omkara and The Blue Umbrella , all Vishal Bhardwaj's films..., then they have definitely missed on something ... which can not be described in words..., which can only be felt... all kinds of human emotions of greed , misery , innocence, love etc. etc.. whichever more , with n numbers of permutations and combinations.... Now i have not seen Makdi and somehow feel that i have missed on something. But once the moment passes you just can not bring yourself to experience it all over again , may be because , you are bored.
Anyways i had been waiting for Kaminey so desperately and now that it's going to be released soon i have kind of no more desire left in me to go see it.... n number of reasons can be cited.....
DO NOT MISS THIS MOVIE ... verdict by experience , set by taking other movies as an example..... I don't even know whether i am writing correct english or not ...

Rab ne bana di jodi
A bit wacky / a bit outdated / part time job idea that came up while experiencing something similar and by the tone on the other side, realising that i was sucking at it , the job i mean......
So we could have a phone service or a call center (depending on how much one wants to invest in the beginning ) ......which provides information which is precise and not french to people who dont know the language. Now the information is about how to reach a particular destination from another . Yup,telling it on phone to a human being , that is THE JOB !! Like icecreams have varied flavors , we too could offer different flavors from which the customers could choose ,like : shortest / longest route , smooth / bumpy roads , city darshan ; whether the person wants to pass through historical places or celebrity homes (whoever they consider a celebrity ) , or malls or a film shooting or a morcha / dharna while reaching their destination and so on.....plus the service could be available in different languages .... So people who know their cities , have a lot of patience and can make the other person understand how to move about can try and may succeed if they mean and can do buisness.An attractive voice wont hurt much , i am talking about the service provider .
Anyways , now before i watch another movie in a movie hall which most probably would be Slumdog Millionaire , i really want to collect my thoughts and comment on this movie which is the title of this post .
Let me just ask questions and give their answers coz this movie has got me all confused.
1. Is this a must watch ......... NO
2. Is this a one-time watch .....YES.
3. Did i like Shahrukh in it.....surprisingly YES .... a complete Sharukh only kind of a flick , the pout ,the yellow luch box , the dialogue delivery , the specs , the punjab power .... lighting of your life .is it?.... dialogue ,the wholt get up of Shahrukh before he becomes Raj . Basically the Surinder Sahni part i loved ... and his chemistry with Bobby Chadha (Vinay Pathak) . I am not a Shahrukh Khan fan but he's REALLY infectious sometimes....
4. But could i see my RAB in Surinder Sahni .... NO , just like Tani (the heroine ) was confused i got confused , whether she has fallen in love with Surinder Sahni or Raj ... i got confused in the end and stayed confused unlike her..... coz she saw her rab in Surinder Sahni. I didnt see mine and not even hers. Now i would have loved this movie if i could see her rab and it would have been better if for that moment even mine in Surinder Sahni and this is the mistake of movie making... the story is completely fine , understandable and believable. But it has not been executed in the right manner even when the movie duration is pretty long ..... so i 'll say the fault is in direction not the story.
5.How's the music...... NICE not great..... the heartbreaking one is .....tujhmeeeee rab dikhta hai ..yaaraaaa main kyaaa ...karoon , like the 'haule haule 'one too plus there's this music that comes many times in the movie ... ,which is in the beginning of' haule haule', is just soO nice and funny ....
It comes for the first time when Surinder tries to keep a rose for Tani with his phone number .
Then when she gives lunch to him.... that yellow box he's carrying while riding his scooter .... if i rememember correctly then only this haule haule number starts.
6.what else.....now Vinay Pathak is good ....and Anushka Sharma too fits in.... she looks like a next door kind of a punjabi girl...just a bit prettier than the next door . Then i liked the way she speaks in the movie .... about acting its too soon to say....

The first New Year Post
How about a post a month .....this could be a new year resolution. Talking about new year resolutions , i didnt have any this year or for that matter none ever that i really followed . This year it was different , didnt have any time doing nothing to even realise that next day is going to be the beginning of 2009 ....
On the first sunday ....the special sections and the magazine sections of all the newspapers were all filled up with this new you ... new me .... new year resolutions .... things to learn and unlearn from past mistakes etc. etc. and i felt like making a list which never materialised.
............For happyness until next time.
Thinking of The Pursuit of Happyness here...... i slept off while watching it .... and havent seen it till end till now ... people say it's good but it could'nt catch my attention enough or may be not one of my type of films (includes to my own surprise sometimes such a wide range that makes me wonder is it really me or my twin or my twin's twin.... and so on ) or may be someday i 'll be in that mood .....to really watch it and get over with. i did like the concept..... its based on a real life story after all and i love those kinds.... but it's pace was a bit too slow for me i guess.........
Red pollard (Tobey Maguire ) , telling about Seabisciut , the horse , to a fellow jockey and a friend .....
It's not in his feet Georgie , its right here (pointing towards his own heart).....
